Terrazzo does not collect your data. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no server operated by the developer. Your library and your reading stay on your devices and in your own iCloud account.
Your comics, covers, reading position, bookmarks, ratings, reviews, lists and reading history are stored on your device. Comics are never uploaded anywhere by Terrazzo.
If you enable iCloud sync, your reading state (progress, bookmarks, lists, ratings, reviews, series settings and your reader profile) is stored in your own private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit. The developer has no access to it and no ability to read it. Comic files themselves are not synced this way.
A small set of app preferences also syncs between your devices through iCloud's key-value store. This is handled entirely by Apple.
Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Terrazzo's friends feature works device to device through Apple's iCloud sharing. When you send someone an invite link, you are sharing a record in your own iCloud account directly with them. There is no Terrazzo server, no account to create, no public profile, and no directory of users. Only people you personally send a link to can see what you share, and you can remove them at any time.
What is shared is limited to your reading activity: your display name and avatar, the series and issues you choose to share, your ratings, reviews and replies. Your comic files are never shared.
When you ask Terrazzo to find cover art or metadata for a comic, it sends the series or issue title, and nothing else, to whichever of these services you have enabled:
These requests contain no identifier for you or your device beyond what any ordinary internet request reveals, such as your IP address, which those services receive and handle under their own policies. Metadata lookup is optional and can be turned off in Settings.
If you connect Terrazzo to a network share (SMB) or a Komga server, it talks to that server directly. Those are your servers, not the developer's. Any usernames and passwords you enter are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and are sent only to the server you entered them for.
The optional Supporter purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Terrazzo never sees your payment details. The app only records, on your device, whether a purchase exists.
Terrazzo does not send crash reports or usage data to the developer. If you use the in-app option to report a problem, it opens a draft in your own email app. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send it, and you can see exactly what it contains first.
If you have separately opted in to sharing analytics with Apple in iOS Settings, Apple may share aggregated crash statistics with the developer. That data is anonymised by Apple and is not linked to you.
Terrazzo is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Because nothing is collected, there is nothing to delete on request. Removing the app, and turning off iCloud sync, removes everything.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
